Bullet FOX 8.5x55 Blaser - 12.0g/185gr

Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may encounter, from close shots at wild boar in drives to extremely long shots at chamois in the mountains. The bullets are lead-free, made from a copper and zinc alloy. The selected material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). The grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface between the bullet and the rifle barrel, which consequently reduces pressure and increases speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the cavity at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and terminal ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the caliber diameter. Controlled and rapid deformation allows for effective energy transfer from the bullet to the body of the game. All of this together ensures an exceptional stopping effect while causing minimal meat damage.
