Trabucco Mantis XSD is an upgraded version of the previous Mantis model, boasting reduced weight and improved winding smoothness, while maintaining a successful and recognizable design.
Reliable front-drag reel suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.

The internal mechanism includes 2 Long Life System ball bearings and 1 single-row bearing, all mounted on the main shaft, a configuration that over time improves winding smoothness and mechanical stability.
One Way Clutch infinite anti-reverse system provides immediate response and maximum control during fight.

Mikro-adjustable front drag with large shims provides progressive and precise drag operation that fully adapts to different fishing conditions. CNC machined aluminum spool Long Cast Superlight enhances casting distance and accuracy, while the AS Anti-Twist line roller reduces line twisting.

Balanced Power Fight handle, equipped with an ergonomic knob, provides comfort and power.
In sizes 4000 and 6000 the reel has a larger T-Knob handle, which provides additional grip and greater leverage when fishing for stronger fish.
