Duck Call NORDIK PREDATOR Mallard

Description:
Nordik mallard duck
This single duck call for mallards is easy to blow, specially designed for beginners as it requires less air. This call can produce all the basic sounds for calling mallards. The material of this call is polycarbonate, and its design offers multiple ways to attach a lanyard.
How to use
Hold the call at the waist of the sound chamber between your thumb and index finger, and place the tube to your mouth as if you were drinking from it. Make sure you can open and close the front part of the call with your remaining fingers, which will give you a more lively sound. Be careful not to completely close your hands in front of the call, as this will muffle the sound, and when you open your hand, you want to 'release' the sound.
Quacking sound
Pinch your fingers in front of the sound chamber and push air from your diaphragm as if you were saying the word 'DWITT', while simultaneously opening your hand.
Sequence: dwitt, dwitt, dwitt.
Greeting call
Perform a series of 4-5 quacking sounds in a fairly quick cadence. The first three quacks should be longer. Actively use your hand, opening and closing with each quack.
Sequence: dwiiiitt…, dwiiiitt…, dwiiit…, dwiitt, dwitt.
Return call
Perform a series of 6-8 quacking sounds in a faster and louder sequence. Again, use your hand and open and close your fingers with each quack.
Feeding call
Perform a series of very fast, short bursts of air while trying to say the word 'tika, tika,… tika, tika, tika' occasionally and without rhythm or predictability. Again, use your remaining fingers to open and close in front of the call.
Remember – practice makes perfect!
