LR Dot Reticle
The LR Dot reticle was developed around the typical trajectory of centerfire ammunition, such as the .308 Winchester cartridge, which is popular worldwide for hunting fairly large game. It is also suitable for some faster bullets that can be used for hunting foxes and similar game.
Due to this design, it is also suitable for European shooters who prefer a metric range of numbers and therefore zero the rifle at 100 meters on the center dot and use the lower aiming points for 200, 300, 400, and 500 meters. Helpful tip: at 16x magnification, the thick posts to the right and left of the center dot would limit the length of the body of a roe deer at 100 yards; a popular size of animal for hunting with this type of reticle.
