Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may encounter, from close shots at wild boars in drives to extremely long shots at chamois in the mountains. The bullets contain no lead, made from a copper and zinc alloy. The chosen material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). The grooves on the bullet reduce the contact area between the bullet and the rifle barrel, consequently reducing pressure and increasing speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the cavity at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and target ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the diameter of the caliber. Controlled and rapid deformation allows efficient energy transfer from the bullet to the game body. All this together ensures exceptional stopping effect while causing minimal meat damage.
