Folding knife COLD STEEL Oyabun

'For years, we have been thinking about making a folding knife that closely mimics our famous Tanto. Andrew Demko worked on the problem, and with input from Lynn Thompson, a satisfactory solution was discovered. The result is what we offer here, Oyabun! It features a reinforced blade tip, high satin finish, professional heat treatment (Rc57 and cryogenic hardening), and a highly sharp edge that epitomizes Cold Steel's reputation. Additionally, it is equipped with a built-in thumb stud for easy opening and a (patented) lock and leaf spring safety. The lock/safety on the Oyabun was first used in our Crawford 1 folder and has proven to be quite solid and reliable. The 4034 stainless steel blade is set in a strong, economical handle that is reinforced with stainless steel overlays. The handle is injection molded with a Griv-Ex™ base and then over-molded with soft checkered Kray-Ex™, attached to the frame with two robust screws.' - Lynn Thompson
