• Axion is designed for constant, often demanding use. The magnesium alloy housing is lightweight yet strong. The casing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal device from impacts, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, the metal casing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, reducing image noise and increasing the consistency of the device's operation during prolonged observation.
• The Axion 2 thermal monocular is equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (pixel size 17 µm) / 640x480 pixels (pixel size 12 µm), which capture useful signals in challenging observation conditions, such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.
• Germanium F35/1.0 lens has high infrared permeability in the LWIR range. Due to the high precision in the optical element manufacturing, the image generated by the Axion 2 thermal device sensor stands out for its clarity and detail.
• High-performance rechargeable APS5 battery provides, depending on the model, up to 11 hours of continuous operation of the thermal device on a single charge. The battery can be removed from the battery compartment and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery charges in a special charger or within the device from a PC, household power supply, or power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used for external power supply of the thermal device.
• The Axion 2 thermal cameras standardly feature a frequency range connection with a smartphone via a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel complemented by an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer, noise resistance, and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier operation of the thermal device with a smartphone.
• Long-range laser rangefinder.Understanding target distance is a critical factor in making the right decisions. The built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in individual measurements and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for rapid and seamless situational assessment.
• Detection range up to 1300 m.The powerful F35/1.0 lens combined with highly sensitive thermal imaging sensors provides exceptional detection performance. A standard 1.8 m tall object can be detected up to 1300 m away in complete darkness.
• Pocket-sized and lightweight. The Axion 2 features a compact, pocket-sized design and weighs 350 grams. The device is easily handled by both right and left-handed users due to its symmetrical design and button layout on the top panel.
• IPX7 fully waterproof. Waterproof IPX7 protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly even after being submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

• Select from 8 color palettes. Choosing among 8 color palettes allows the user to observe their field of view more effectively, enabling them to optimize the unit for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for detecting objects, while Rainbow and Ultramarine enhance recognition and identification possibilities. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for long observation at night.
