Cold Steel Luzon Folding Knife
Lynn C. Thompson's love for Filipino martial arts inspired a collaboration with Mike Wallace on the Luzon folding knife. The design was influenced by several balisongs from Lynn's collection but operates as a folding knife. The blades are made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel hardened to 57-58 Rockwell and feature a sharp, strong tip with just enough belly to make them equally useful for slicing. The handle offers countless comfortable grip options. The handles, made from glass-filled nylon (GFN), are weather-resistant and of a shape that Cold Steel has never made before. Nice, wallet-friendly, and easy to open, Luzons are an excellent choice. The durable leaf-spring locking mechanism offers unparalleled security, along with a secondary safety mechanism that is incredibly shock and impact resistant. Your fingers will be safe even in the most extreme conditions.

8Cr13MoV Stainless Steel
Possessing very similar properties to AUS 8A, 8Cr13MoV is a reliable steel for working knives. This high-carbon stainless steel has proven to be durable with corrosion resistance in our tests. Like AUS 8A, it boasts good edge retention and is easy to re-sharpen.
